Policolor is for sale, leaving room to a real estate project

Reconstruction Capital II, the investment fund owned by Ion Florescu, prepares the sale of local paints and varnishes producer Policolor, capital.ro informs, romaniajournal.ro reads.

He recently left Albalact and Top Factoring, interested in investing in the Romanian real estate market.

As of this year, Ion Florescu wants to develop a real estate project in Bucharest, for which he has about EUR 6 million. Even if the investor has previously received offers to sell the factory, Florescu says his plan is to leave the firm only after moving the production from Theodor Pallady area of Bucharest to the Militari district.

The construction of the new plant is due to begin this spring.

Policolor’s industrial platform is covering 13.9 ha and was sold for EUR 22 million.
