Small entrepreneurs could receive the amount of 50,000 lei, as of May, in order to create a visual identity and participate in international fairs, Minister for Business Environment, Trade and Entrepreneurship Alexandru Petrescu told a press conference dedicated to problems which Romanian producers are confronted with.
"The internalization programme is a programme that I found in the Ministry and it allows the applicant to obtain up to 50,000 lei for creating a visual identity, participating in international fairs. It's part of the demarche to encourage small entrepreneurs. It will start in May. We are working on the logistics part so we be able to implement it. It's a programme very dear to me that helps the business environment, combined with another programme for micro-industrialization, where the applicants can benefit from grants in order to be invested in equipment. If the two of them converge we will have a higher level of productivity. More elements need to be brought convergently. We are talking about the education area, where we need to increase the level of personnel training," Petrescu stated at the conference titled "The gap between Romanian economy and productive Romania: Necessary policies to cover it."
In his opinion, Romania must return to the area of vocational education.
"We remained with a slogan and we have to see things straight in terms of education in Romania. I believe that it [education - e.n.] was very good, but meanwhile we must admit that it deteriorated. We have to improve the level of education and, on the other hand, we have to call upon other methods, the vocational education. We have to return to the area of vocational education. I know there were several initiatives that started successfully," Minister of Business Environment stated.
