60% of Romanian employees think their employer is better prepared to cope with possible economic crisis
More than 60% of Romanian employees think their employers are better prepared to cope with a possible economic crisis than in 2008, according to an opinion poll made by Bestjobs recruiting platform, according to which about 31% of respondents declared worried about losing their jobs in the future.
“Worries about losing one's job recorded a slight drop since the beginning of the epidemiological crisis to the present day, only 30.9% of respondents declared worried about losing their jobs in the future, versus 34.5% over March-April 2020. 21% of employees are worried about a possible salary cut, while 14% mention technical unemployment. At the opposite pole, 23% of respondents do not expect a negative impact on their jobs,” the survey shows.
The present epidemiological crisis had a major impact on the migration of employees, so that, at this moment, only over 12% would take into account leaving the country on a short and medium term, compared to 35% in the same period of 2019.
