Daraban (CCIR): Romanian education and real economy are two parallel lines
President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIR) Mihai Daraban told a specialist conference that the Romanian education and real economy are two parallel lines, adding that the Education Ministry remained stuck in specific customs.
"The Romanian education and real economy are two parallel lines. The economy suffered three resets after the Revolution and I would refer to the '90s, the period 2000 - 2007, when in 2000 Mr Isarescu as Prime Minister signed the pre-accession documents with the famous Phare funds and the third reset after 1 January 2017. All this time, the Education Ministry unfortunately remained stuck in specific customs, in the immobility of the labour force from the inside, being unadjusted to real economy. Today, we unfortunately deduct the results," Daraban said.
According to him, the political decision-maker should copy law models that work in other countries.
"In many situations, the CCIR called upon the political decision-maker, requesting from the bottom of the heart to accept, if one doesn't know, to copy the law model that works perfectly on the level of countries that we tend to reach. There are functional models on dual professional education, such as the one in Germany," the CCIR official revealed.
