Romania's first bank-managed real estate portal released
Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) on Wednesday launched the first real estate portal in Romania managed by a banking institution which, apart from a complex offer of housing from all counties in Romania, includes useful information about house purchase procedures.
The portal contains advice and recommendations for the conclusion of a sales pre-contract, of a sale or mortgage contract. In addition, the portal also includes useful information about financing and housing insurance offers.
'BCR is the first bank to launch such a portal. We want to offer our clients nationwide an integrated solution: housing + financing solution. www.bcrimobiliare.ro is a place where the offer of real estate agencies and property developers meets the demand of customers seeking to acquire a residence,' said Stefan Coroianu, CEO of the BCR Retail Loan Division.
On www.bcrimobiliare.ro, developers can in their turn find useful information about the carrying out of a real estate project, such as the selection of the location, the planning of the project's development, project budgeting, or accessing bank financing.
'BCR has already signed partnerships with over 150 agencies and nearly 100 developers. For next year we intend to sign more than 250 partnerships with real estate agencies and 150 such deals with property developers. Together with property developers, we intend to finance the purchase of approximately 1,000 homes plus another 1,500 financed together with property developers,' added Stefan Coroianu.
BCR, a member of Erste Group, is a universal bank that targets both retail and corporate clients. BCR is the most important banking institution in Romania, managing assets in excess of 16 billion euros. The bank offers a full range of products and services for the population, running currently 668 retail units (for the population and micro-enterprises) all over the country and in most cities with over 10,000 inhabitants.
