President Traian Basescu appointed several ambassadors of Romania, among whom those to Georgia, Japan or Korea. A release of the Presidential Administration reads that the head of state accredited Dumitru Badea as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Georgia, or Diana-Anca Radu as Ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil.
