The technology festival, Bucharest Tech Week 2019, at the 4th edition

Over 23,600 people passionate with future technology discovered and tested state of the art gadgets, applications, tech products and ideas at the 4th edition of Bucharest Tech Week, an event organized in Bucharest over May 21-24, organizers announced in the press release on Thursday.

The technology festival was designed as a tech savvy ecosystem starting from the centre of Bucharest and extended throughout the city by setting up business micro climates maintained by 76 partner events organized by companies and associations from Romania.

For one week, 23,615 passionate people could connect with revolutionary technologies, innovations and solutions brought by 96 multinational and local companies, which sets up trends in innovation in the business environment in Romania.

The 1,724 participants learned about how innovation in space research can be applied in business, discovered the most efficient techniques of increasing productivity in business and at personal level, learned the latest trends in Fintech and had the opportunity to test the latest algorithms in Java and NET programming.

In the exhibition area devoted to partners at business conferences, 32 top multinational companies brought to the fore solutions using artificial intelligence and help increase efficiency and performance at managerial and functional levels.

On the overall, 21,891 visitors of all ages came to Bucharest Tech Week 2019, and discovered drones, humanoid robots, smart houses, captivating experiences through VR technologies, mind activated devices, electric and hybrid cars or electric bicycles.

The car exhibition area was one of the main attractions of Tech Expo, displaying models like Renault Zoe, Ford Mondeo Hybrid, Suzuki Swift, Volvo XC60 T8 Engine Plug-In Hybrid or Nissan Leaf. Moreover,  models like Honda CR-V Hybrid, Mazda 3, Smart EQ forfour and fortwo, Volkswagen E-Golf, Audi e=tron and Tesla Model 3 Performance.
