Infrastructure : WIZZ AIR ANNOUNCES A NEW SUNNY ROUTE FROM TIMISOARA TO TEL AVIV

* TIMISOARA BECOMES THE FIFTH ROMANIAN AIRPORT WITH DIRECT FLIGHTS TO TEL AVIV

Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe and Romania’s leading airline, announced last Tuesday a new route from Timisoara to sunny Tel Aviv, located on the coast of Israel, commencing on 30 October with two weekly frequencies, on Mondays and Fridays, a press release sent to ACTMedia informs. Tel Aviv, a modern, vibrant and cosmopolitan city is a great all-year-round holiday destination, with a sun-bronzed strip of coastline where coffee and culinary innovations are the local trademarks. With a fascinating heritage, the city scenery will surprise visitors with contemporary art galleries, chic lounges, artisan boutiques and blissfully balmy beaches.

Proving its dedication and commitment to the Romanian passengers for the past ten years, WIZZ is always looking to bring even more low-fare opportunities that can best meet its customers’ needs, and the popular sunny destination of Tel Aviv becomes available from five Romanian airports, including Cluj-Napoca and Iasi. Starting from 17 June the low-fare connection from Bucharest to Tel Aviv will have 6 weekly frequencies a week, and from 18 September the service is becoming daily, while on 19 June the service from Craiova to Tel Aviv will be launched.

Starting today, Timisoara travelers and their visitors can enjoy any of the 16 destinations to 8 countries available on WIZZ low-fare network, including the popular destinations Brussels Charleroi, Madrid, Eindhoven and Munich Memmingen. Wizz Air as the hometown airline of Timisoara has earned the trust and loyalty of over 3.5 million passengers since the beginning of its operations at Traian Vuia International Airport in 2008.
