Romania draws 1.5 billion dollars through bond issue on U.S. market

Romania drew 1.5 billion dollars on January 31 through a bond issue on the U.S. market, with 10-year maturity and a yield of 6.875%, State Secretary in the Ministry of Public Finance (MFP) Bogdan Dragoi told Agerpres. The bonds in dollars have a coupon of 6.75% and were sold at discount, the total yield for investors being 6.875%.
