Romania has not sold any gold on the international markets to support the economy, said advisor of BNR Governor Adrian Vasilescu on Thursday. 'The National Bank of Romania (BNR) has not sold a single gram of gold since 1989. BNR bought gold. We started with a reserve of 67 tonnes and we have now 105 tonnes.
