The Romanian start-up Bunnyshell, which is building technology for cloud infrastructure, received a new investment, worth 1.1 million euro, from the investment fund Early Game Ventures (EGV), according to a press release of the company, sent on Thursday.

The transaction is the second investment of the EGV in Bunnyshell, and the legal assistance was ensured by the DLA Piper team, including the set of documents necessary for the entire process. Bunnyshell was represented by Boanta, Gidei si Asociatii S. C. A.

"In the context of accelerated digitization, attention to the Dev Ops processes and the need for solutions oriented to programmers rose highly. At the level of infrastructure there are many moving parts: configuring new servers, security policies, back-up which generate complexity and increases the probability that the performance of apps be affected. Bunnyshell helps companies automate Dev Ops processes and manage apps and infrastructures in the cloud by just a few clicks, without the need for specialists. This new round of financing allows us to accelerate the expansion on the international markets and the development of the network of partners at the global level," states Alin Dobra, founder and CEO of Bunnyshell.

EGV is a venture capital investment fund financed with priority through the 2014-2020 Competitiveness Operational Program and co-financed through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

"The demand for qualified persons in systems administration (dev ops) exploded in the pandemic period, when all the companies had to accelerate their digitization and build cloud infrastructure. The Bunnyshell technology democratizes access to the cloud and makes installing and administering servers easy for anyone. We were, we are and we will be together with the Bunnyshell team in the next financing rounds," said Dan Calugareanu, Early Game Ventures partner.
