Companies register 5% more  job applications in June


In June, Romanians continued to look for jobs, the total volume of applications for another job growing by 5% compared to the month of May. Jobs most in demand were in finance-accounting, transport, engineering and Business Process Outsourcing, according to BestJobs.

A similar percentage was recorded in comparison to the previous year too.

“For three months on a row, jobs in finance-accounting and transport fields hold the first two positions in the top of searches made by Romanian candidates, with over 46,000 searches in June. Romanians also looked for getting jobs in engineering, with over 18,000 job searches, BPO with 14,000 searches, human resources and sales with over 10,000 searches each,” BestJobs representatives say.

Also in June,candidates were also interested by jobs in IT and marketing and in jobs for trained workers, all generating over 24,000 searches for such positions.

The banking sector attracted most candidates in June, with over 6,500 applications.

The top of companies with most applications is led by Enel (2,748 applications), Raiffeisen Bank (1,921 applications), Continental Automotive Group (1,665), Oracle (1,651), A&D Pharma (1,627), Transylvania Bank (1,577), First Bank (1,528), British American Tobacco (1,488), Alpha Bank (1,482) and Regina Maria (1,511).

British American Tobacco was also in the top of preferences in June.

In June there were candidates who chose to directly apply in the pages  of employing companies at BestJobs. Companies with the best employer brand in June were: British American Tobacco with 147 spontaneous applications, Enel with 109 applications, Oracle with 101, A&D Pharma with 76, Continental Automotive Group with 69, OMV Global Solutions with 65, Transylvania Bank with 64, Hella Romania with 60, Alka Trading with 57, Raiffeisen Bank and Penny Market with 56 each.
