Company strike-offs in Romania increase by almost 9% during first semester

The number of companies stricken off in Romania nationwide increased by 8.77% in the first 6 months of 2022, as against the same period in 2021, to 35,420 strike-offs, according to statistics with the National Companies Registry Office (ONRC).Most strike-offs were recorded in Bucharest - 5,607 (up 8.81% against January-June 2021) and in the counties of Timis - 1,605 (up 4.15%), Constanta - 1,584 (up 14.12%) and Cluj - 1,564 (up 10.92%).On the ...
