Dunwell and VGP finalised one of the biggest tradings of land in Romania

The Dunwell agency specialised in the industrial sector of the real estate market and the developer of industrial parks VGP signed a trading of230,000 sqmetre land in Brasov,informs a press release.

The trading is one of the biggest land acquisition for industrial developments outside Bucharest over the last five years.

Dunwell  has been present on the market for less than one year and finalised several tradings with partners in retail, production and logistics.  The agency wants to reach a market share of 10% in the first year, and over 3 years to reach 30%. The agency started its activity in the second half of 2017.

The Belgian real estate group VGP is specialised in the acquisition,construction, leasing and administration of the industrial and logistics spaces. In Romania they own starting with 2012, other two logistics parks: VGP Park Timisoara with 270,000 sqm land over 120,000 sqm rentable surface and VGP Park Sibiu with 97,000 sqm land and more than 45,000 sqm rentable surface.

‘Due to the request on the part of our present and potential clients of Romania we have decided to extend in the country and to acquire among other projects a new lot of land in Brasov. This will allow us to develop over 100,000 sqm of logistics spaces of class A in a premium location’ Jan Van Geet CEO VGP said.

Dunwell is a start-up set up in 2017 in Bucharest. The executive partners of the company are  Marian Orzu,one on the oldest specialists of the market of industrial with over 13 years of experience in the domain, Daniel Cautis with over 6 years experience in industry, and Laurentiu Badea who has 15 years of experience on the Romanian real estate market.
