Florian Kubinski, Volksbank Romania vice president is chairman of CFR Administration Board

Volksbank vice president Florian Kubinski was appointed chairman of the Administration Board of CFR following Sorin Mindrutescu’s resignation. “The managerial team of CFR National Company will continue the program of making the company activity more efficient by applying legislative and administrative measures, so that the engagements assumed by the government in front of international institutions should be observed.

The Board will appoint a new member for the vacant position following Mr Sorin Mindrutescu’s resignation from the list of names suggested by PricewaterhouseCoopers Tax Advisors & Accountants, D&B David and Baias and Georges Butunoiu Group,” a CFR press release shows.

Kubinski, 53, has been working in the finance field for 16 years and has been in charge of financial operation control at Volksbank since the beginning of October. Previously, Kubinski was deputy CEO of MKB Romexterra Bank.

The other members of CFR Administration Board are George Micu (general manager of the company), Enache Jiru and Sebastian Tcaciuc.

The present Administration Board was appointed in April when the Ministry of Transports rejected the administration plan suggested by the former Board.

CFR incomes grew by 3.5% in the first semester to 1.16 billion lei, while network traffic dropped by 5%.
