In 2015, RE/MAX brokered 19 million Euros worth of transactions

In 2015, RE/MAX Romania, part of the world leader in real estate and number one global franchise on this segment, brokered circa 300 real estate transactions with a total value of 19 million Euros. In this context, the company earned 1 million Euros worth of comissions, a statement sent to ACTMedia informs.
“In 2015, the 15 RE/MAX offices from Cluj-Napoca, Arad, Oradea, Bistrita, Brasov, Suceava, Bacau, Sibiu and Bucharest mediated circa 300 real estate transactions. By far, the offices from Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest and Brasov were those who registered the most transactions due to both the potential of each market, as well as the fact that these franchises were present for more than a year on the local market and had already gain a certain tradition”, said Razvan Cuc, Regional Director of RE/MAX Romania.
According to his affirmations, 80% of the transactions were represented by sales, while 20% were renting transactions.
Regarding the type of the traded properties, 80% were in the residential segment, one of the market sectors that registered a positive trend during the previous year. 15% of the rest of the transactions were represented by office and commercial properties, while building lands occupied 5% of the total.
“As regards of the traded residential properties, 75% of these were apartments, while 15% were houses with a value above the market average”, said Razvan Cuc.
Top 3 largest transactions
In terms of value, RE/MAX Romania registered last year a number of significant transactions. Among these was included a land dedicated to a real estate development project. The land, with a value of over 1 million Euros, is located in Cluj and was bought by a property developer. Also, last year the company managed to sell more homes with values of over 500.000 Euros.
“Another interesting project for RE/MAX Romania was a partnership with RE/MAX Austria, through which we sold a 2 bedroom apartment in Vienna, worth 435.000 Euros. This property was sold to a Romanian client and the entire process took about 2 months”, added Razvan Cuc.
Future plans
Since 2015 ended with a total of 15 offices, 101 agents and approx. 1 million Euros worth of commissions, for 2016 Razvan Cuc estimates a steady growth.
Therefore, this year the company estimates a total of 24 offices, 165 agents and a 1.5 million Euros worth of commissions from transactions.
“This year we will focus on the development of the Bucharest office network, but we do not exclude any other major city, such as Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Constanta or Timisoara”, ended Razvan Cuc.
