Preparing children for lifelong learning, success and being global citizens has become the foundation of Canadian educational methodology, which makes Canada one of the world`s leader in education, romaniajournal.ro reportsThis concept is becoming available for the first time in our region through Maple Bear Canadian schools and its new educational franchise model. They are designed to educate the whole child – physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially, in which three ingredients are fundamental: creativity, collaboration and critical thinking.

„Over 85% of the 2030 jobs are not yet invented according to the Institute for the Future (IFTF). How can education prepare children for jobs that do not exist? What schools should be provided to children to ensure their successful future? Since no one knows what the future holds, the answer is simply encoded in the “learn to learn methodology”. If children are given the skills and love to learn and acquire knowledge they will be prepared to face whatever the challenge and confidently navigate their way in a world of rapid and broad transformations”, said Yann Bidan, General Manager of Maple Bear Central and Eastern Europe.

We are entering Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region and looking for local partners to set up schools in Romania. Our schools have unique positioning on the market. Maple Bear conforms to local education regulations, offering fully articulated local curricula in addition to the Canadian program and methodology. This opens up many more educational options for Maple Bear students locally and internationally”, added Yann Bidan.

In Romania, the plan is to develop more than 10 early childhood and elementary schools with the possibility to grow to high school.

Canada educational system is constantly ranking among the top six countries in the world according to OECD PISA international students assessment. It answers the crucial questions: What is important for citizens to know and be able to do? How do they apply what they have learn to real life problem & lifelong learnings?

Canada (N6) is outranking all the English speaking countries in the world (UK N23, USA N31 etc.) and is ahead the results of the economic and educational leaders in Europe (France N25, Germany N13). Romania`s last results in PISA assessment was ranking it N48.
