Transelectrica and electricity distribution operators announce total investments of 1.68 billion lei this year

The National Authority for Regulation in Energy (ANRE) approved total investment of at least 1.684 billion lei for the transport and system operator Transelectrica and electricity distribution operators which are concessioned for 2021, announced ANRE on Wednesday.


Similarly, the operators of electricity transport grids and distribution had in 2020 total investments worth 1.563 billion lei, meaning over 99% against the estimated value of 1.572 billion lei.


 ‘ANRE approved for the electricity transport and system operator and distribution operators who are concessioned for 2021 total investments of at least 1.684 billion lei. The investment works have as an objective to improve the performance indicators of the service, safety in operation, reduction of operation and maintenance costs, strengthening of the grids for the growth of connection capacity for the users, increase of energy efficiency and smart measuring  systems’ says ANRE.

The  planned investments will be made from their own sources.


Thus, Transelectrica estimates investments of 330 million lei for this year, E-Distribution Muntenia – 215 million lei, E-Distribution Banat – 127 million lei, E-Distribution Dobrogea – 105 million le, Delgaz Grid – 150 million lei, Distribu?ie Energie Oltenia - 207 million lei, Distribu?ie Energie România -  Muntenia Nord - 176 million lei, Distribu?ie Energie România - z Transilvania Nord - 187 million lei, Distribu?ie Energie România -  Transilvania Sud - 187 million lei.


 ‘Supplimentary against the annual plan for investments approved for each distribution operators, the operators have the obligation to  finance the installations for household users connection as well the non-household  clients whose connection installation is smaller than  2.500 metres’ ANRE shows.
