The political crisis which has lasted for several weeks and the present difficult situation in the domain of health create conditions which are more and more difficult for the business environment in Romania leading to a supplementary loss of trust in the private sector, warns the representatives of the Romanian –German Chamber of Commerce (AHK), in a press release sent on Thursday.
‘The sanitary situation in the country is dramatic, and the direct impact on the economy is clearly visible and continues to get worse. At present, almost 500 people loss their life every day. It is hard to understand how political disputes are going on at present instead of reaching a political consensus. Moreover, the political decisions factors are called to offer safe and stable conditions, to find concrete solutions to solve the present crisis and to assume responsibility. Taking into consideration the challenges, as well as the global and regional opportunities, Romania could be one of the winners, especially in the context of financing which is going to come from the EU, if the necessary stability is offered, a clear direction and if concrete solutions are put to practice. Unfortunately, the representatives of the German business environment have the impression that it is contrary what is happening, and the necessary measures for the solution of the crisis are not present (…). The political crisis which has lasted for several weeks and the present difficult situation in the domain of health create more and more difficult conditions for the business environment in Romania and lead to the supplementary loss of trust in the private sector, including due to the lack of perspective for improvement’ the press release says.
