Consolidated general budget outstanding debts up by 8.4% in June 2024
The outstanding debts of the general consolidated budget increased by 8.4%, in June 2024, compared to the previous month, to 459.7 million RON, from 424 million RON in May, according to the data published on the website of the Ministry of Finance (MF) .
Arrears over 90 days increased by 33.6%, from 102.7 million RON to 137.2 million RON, and those over 120 days increased by 1.8%, from 254, 9 million RON, in May 2024, to 259.6 million RON in June 2024. Arrears over 360 days registered a decrease of 5.3%, from 66.4 million RON to 62.9 million RON.
According to the MF, in terms of local budgets, outstanding debts registered an advance of 5.41%, from 388 million RON (in May 2024) to 409 million RON (in June 2024).
Dues over 90 days increased by 13.77%, to 108.2 million RON, those over 120 days increased by 4.95%, to 250 million RON, and debts over 360 days - reduced by 7.3%, up to 50.8 million RON.
In the "State and autonomous budget" chapter, arrears increased from 35.9 million RON in May 2024 to 50.7 million RON in June (+41.22%).
Debts over 90 days increased 3.8 times, to 29.1 million RON, those over 120 days decreased by 42.52%, to 9.6 million RON, and those over 360 days they increased by 3.44%, to 12 million RON.
