Consolidated general budget unpaid bills up by 9.6 pct in April 2023

The unpaid bills of the general consolidated budget increased by 9.67 pct in April 2023, compared to the previous month, to 328.77 million RON, from 299.78 million RON in March, according to data published on the website of the Ministry of Finance.

Arrears over 90 days increased by 14.9 pct, from RON 72.1 million to RON 82.9 million, those over 120 days increased by 6.7 pct, from RON 171.4 million in March 2023 to RON 183 million in April 2023. Outstanding debts over 360 days also increased, by 11.7 pct, from 56.3 million RON to 62.9 million RON.

In terms of local budgets, arrears increased by 9.7 pct, from 283.6 million RON (in March 2023) to 311.11 million RON (in April 2023).

Debts over 90 days increased by 16.3 pct, to RON 79.7 million, those over 120 days increased by 6.3 pct, to RON 177.6 million, while arrears longer than 360 days increased by 12 pct, to RON 53.8 million.

In the chapter "State budget and autonomous", unpaid bills increased from 16.18 million RON in March 2023 to 17.65 million RON in April 2023 (+9.08 pct).

Arrears over 90 days decreased by 13.9 pct, to 3.1 million RON, those over 120 days increased by 28.5 pct, to 5.4 million RON, and those over 360 days increased by 9.6 pct, to 9.1 million RON.
