Romania has the interest to export processed products,nu ships with cereals, as these processed products where we could find tradition and culinary specific stated on Wednesday the European commissionaire for Agriculture and Rural Development Dacian Ciolos, present to the National Conference dedicated to the new PNDR 2014 – 2020.

As we talk much about the potential for export of agriculture in Romania, I think that Romania has the intest not to export ships with cereals but to export, firstly, processed products, as these products include tradition, culinary specific of Romania, as well as work which we have in large quantities in the rural environment. Connecting the development of food industry with the development of education, of professional training and consultancy I think we can turn this production potential of Romania into economic value’ Dacian Ciolos said.

The European commissionaire for agriculture showed that countries with developed agriculture in the EU such as the Netherlands, France or Ireland export mostly processed products and less raw material, as they are the specific of the European agriculture in general.
