Danish companies attending Indagra, interested in business with Romanian farmers

The representatives of the Danish companies attending Indagra want to have meetings with 100 Romanian farmers, over a three-day period, in order to present them solutions in the agriculture area, devoted to animal breeding, EcoRope Manager Cosmin Petra told Agerpres.

'Over three days, in parallel with Indagra fair, 12 Danish companies and two NGOs want to visit approximately 100 Romanian farmers, in order to present them complete solutions in the agriculture area on animal breeding,' Petra said.

The representatives of the Danish companies are going to visit farms of the Counties of Prahova and Arges (both in the south of Romania).

In case the Danish and the Romanian farmers reach an understanding and want to develop a business in the coming period, the business funding can be ensured by financial institutions of Denmark. According to Cosmin Petra, the companies of Denmark are interested in doing business in Romania, but also in Bulgaria, and they are going to participate in an event similar to Indagra organised in the neighbour country, in the coming period.

The 12 Danish companies are: AcoFunki, Animal Care, Engsko, FCSI, Global Pigs, Hyo Nord, Ikadan, Nolan, P. Lindberg, Skiold, Uniq Cover and Vilomix, joined by the NGOs Sustain Agri and Agri Business Park.

Representatives of the companies that intermediated the business contracts, namely EcoRope and Market Select, will also participate in the meetings with Romanian farmers.
