Deposits of non-governmental resident clients rise in February 2019 by 9.1pct year on year

The deposits of non-governmental resident clients grew by 0.6pct compared to January and by 9.1pct (5.1pct in real terms) compared to February 2018, totaling 333,275 billions lei, according to data of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) sent on Tuesday.RON-denominated deposits of households increased by 0.7pct, to 121.708 billion lei, and as compared to February 2018 they increased by 6.8pct (2.9pct in real terms).According to the central bank, ...
