Direct train service between Bucharest and Kyiv to start operating on Oct 10

A direct train service on the Kyiv - Ungheni - Bucharest North and return route will start operating from October 10, the price of a trip in a sleeping car (with four beds in the cabin) being 73.4 euros, CFR Calatori informed on Monday.

The international train IR 99/401 Kyiv (departure at 6:30) - Bucharest North Station (arrival 06:47) will run starting from October 10/11, and its Ukraine-bound counterpart, the international train IR 402/100 Bucharest North Station (departure 19:10) - Kyiv (arrival 19:34) will run starting from October 11/12, 2025.
