Draft state budget to be completed by Finance Minister on Friday and sent to government
The state budget bill for 2016 will be completed on Friday by the Finance Ministry, according to official sources. It will not be made public but will be sent to government to be consulted by the new Cabinet. Next year’s budget, in the variant conceived by resigning minister Eugen Teodorovici includes increases for the fields of education and health, as well as about 3 billion lei for projects of the National Program of Local Development. About 13 billion lei are meant to complete about 4500 projects begun in 2007-2008.
The acting government headed by Sorin Cimpeanu has limited attributions and cannot adopt draft laws or government orders.
