Ejobs: Net average salaries between 1,900 and 30,000 lei in Pharma field

The pharmaceutical industry represents an attractive field for candidates looking for jobs, when about a quarter of employees receive over 4,000 lei/month, according to an analysis made by an online recruiting platform.

 

According to eJobs, with about 6,000 jobs posted in the first half of 2022, the number of positions opened for people who want to work in the field was 60% higher than in the same period of 2021. More than 170,000 applications were made in the last 6 months.

 

In this context, data presented by Salario, the eJobs salary comparison maker, about a quarter of employees in that industry have monthly salaries over the net average at national level, that is 4,000 lei. Most of those who work in Pharma (31.8%) have salaries between 2,000 and 3,000 lei, 25.3% earn between 3,000 and 4,000 lei and 24.6% between 4,000 and 7,000 lei.

 

The share of people who exceed 7,000 lei is only 4.2% and less than 2% people declare they have monthly salaries higher than 10,000 lei.

 

Although we are speaking about a marginal percentage from the total of people who work in Pharma, that threshold of 10,000 lei is significantly exceeded to over 30,000 lei, according to Salario data. Those people are are CEOs , company leaders, financial, sales or logistic managers,”said Roxana Draghici, head of sales at eJobs Romania.

 

The specialized analysis shows that with an average 3,500 lei salary, Pharma employers offer similar earnings to people from Financial/Accounting, Transport/Distribution, Insurance or Production departments. In exchange, the field is at great distance compared to IT Software, where the salary average reached 5,850 lei, of those from Engineering, Auto/Equipment, Telecommunications, Gas/Oil or Audit/Consulting (all over 4,000 lei).

 

A pharmacist earns on the average, 3,050 lei, a drug store manager 4,000 lei, a pharmacist's assistant 2,200 lei. The wage average for medical sales representatives is 3,600 lei, while specialists in pharma-vigilence or in clinical studies have monthly wages of 4,000 lei, according to Salario.

 

At present, the lowest net average salaries in Pharma are chemical lab technician (2,800 lei), production operator (2,600 lei) and storage worker (1,900 lei). Towns with the lowest net average salaries in the same field are: Medias (2,000 lei), Buftea (2,350), Slobozia (2,500), Braila (2,600) and Sighetu Marmatiei (2,800).

On the other hand, the list of the towns with highest net average salaries in Pharma includes: Bucharest (4,000 lei), Ploiesti (3,500), Brasov (3,400), Cluj Napoca (3,200) and Timisoara (3,000).

 

The segment with positions where the highest salaries in the field were registered includes: general manager (net average salary at national level -9,000 lei, highest salary introduced in Salario -30,000 lei), financial manager (net average salary at national level -9,000 lei, highest salary in Solario 30,000 lei), sales manager (net average salary at national level 7,000 lei, highest salary in Salario 30,000 lei), logistic manager (net average salary at national level 6,500 lei, highest salary in Solario 7,500 lei) and product manager (net average salary at national level 5,400 lei, highest salary in Salario 6,400 lei).
