Jianu: IT programmers with secondary education will benefit from exception from income tax for 2018
The minister of communication,Augustin Jianu announced on Wednesday at the beginning of the meeting of government that the ministry he leads is working for the finalisation of the order which will allow the exception from income tax for IT programmers with secondary education.
According to the governing programme, we have for QIII the finalisation of the order for the extension of this facility and for secondary education,but for other business models as well. We hope that until August we have the extension with implementation on 1 January 2018’ Augustin Jianu said.
He said that since the beginning of the year, he received from the employers’ associations as well as from numerous companies complaints with regard to this aspect and after several analyses they got to the final stage regarding the drawing up of an order which could correct the issue.
‘We analysed their requests, we collaborated with the other ministers and we are, at present, in a final stage regarding the drawing up of an order which should correct this issue and allow the continuation of this exception for the outsourcing companies, namely ordered software’ Jianu said.
