Minister Corlatean, to participate in Visegrad Group meeting, on Monday
Romanian Foreign Affairs Minister Titus Corlatean on Monday, February 24, will participate in the meeting of Visegrad Group + Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, on a foreign ministers' level, organised in Budapest, in the context of Hungary's chairmanship-in-office of this forum.
According to the Romanian Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE), in the meeting the officials will approach topics concerning the energy security, including from the European Commission Package on energy and climate changes 2030 viewpoint, aspects related with migration, the evolutions within the Eastern Partnership and the Western Balkans, as well as the prospects of the upcoming elections to the European Parliament.
Visegrad Group was setup in 1991, being made up of the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. Hungary is holding the chairmanship-in-office of Visegrad Group in the period July 2013 - June 2014.
The current meeting of Budapest is carried out in an extended format, with the participation of Romania, Bulgaria and Greece.
