New orders in processing industry up 1.8% in Q1

New orders in the processing industry increased in the first quarter by 1.8% compared to the same period in 2019, informs the National Institute of Statistics (INS) on Wednesday.The increase was due to the advance registered in the durable goods industry (+ 27.8%) and in the capital goods industry (+ 2.9%).
