Non-government credit down 0.2 percent in Sept

The balance of the non-government credit extended by the crediting institutions was down 0.2 percent (0.3 percent in real terms) in Sept. from the prior month down to 213.069 billion lei, the National Bank of Romania announced on Thursday. 
(1 euro=4.4 lei) 

Government credit was up 1.3 percent in Sept. to 81.368 billion lei. At end-Sept., the government credit increased 8.3 percent (6.7 percent in real terms) as compared to Sept. 30, 2013. 

Broad Money M3 recorded 243.434 billion lei in end-Sept. balance. As compared to August 2014, it expanded 0.3 percent (0.1 percent in real terms), while when compared to last Sept. the money supply was larger by 5.1 percent (3.6 percent in real terms).
