OutsourcingPortal was launched in Romania

OutsourcingPortal, the largest outsourcing platform in Central and Eastern Europe, was launched in Romania on Thursday. OutsourcingPortal.ro is the result of a partnership between Bucharest-based marketing consulting services company NNC Services Romania and ProProgressio Foundation in Poland.

OutsourcingPortal.ro is an initiative for the creation of a support framework of local companies in the outsourcing industry. The platform’s goal is to promote, educate and support all actors active on the Romanian outsourcing market, a statement by NNC Services Romania said. The objective of the Polish and Romanian partners is to support the growth and development at a global level of all Romanian actors that are active in or are linked with the outsourcing industry, following the model that was already validated at a European level through the OutsourcingPortal.eu, the statement adds.

The main beneficiaries of the platform’s services are SSC, BPO, ITO, Call&Contact centers and software applications developers. The portal aims to support the market by promoting an active dialogue between all actors in the industry, to create a strong communication link between the public and private sector and to increase exposure among potential employees and partners, as well as to provide information on the Romanian outsourcing market as well as the global trends.

“It is very important that the outsourcing industry be supported by local, regional and international associations, but also by media channels. In the past six years, OutsourcingPortal has become the most important web platform in the Polish outsourcing industry. Now, on the sixth anniversary, thanks to our exclusive partner – NNC Services – OutsourcingPortal is launching officially in Romania. Together we will support the outsourcing industry to grow faster, to communicate better and to be more visible on the European outsourcing map,” ProProgressio Foundation President CEO Wiktor Doktor said.

Over 100,000 of the total 600,000 employees active in the CEE outsourcing industry are employed in Romania. The country is ranked 13th in the Global Services Location Index, ahead of Hungary (32th), the Czech Republic (26th) and Ukraine (24th), and just three positions behind Poland.
