Presentation of Indian wines at CCIB Palace
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest (CCIB) and the Embassy of India in Romania organized the event’ presentation and tasting of Indian wines’ where Romanian business people and speciliasts in wines took part, sends the Press Office of CCIB.
The official session, opened by the chairman of CCIB dr.eng.Costica T.Mustata was honoured by the presence of his excellency Thanglura Darlong, the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of India, with residence in Romania accredited to Romania, the Republic of Moldova and Albania, of the secretary II of the embassy, responsible with economic and commercial affairs Anup Demta and the general secretary of CCIB prof.univ.dr.eng.Sorin Dimitriu.
‘Although Romania is a big producer and exporter of wine, we support the diversification of the offer available on the domestic market and we think that the Indian wines can get on our market, if we convince the Romanian consumers through quality’ stated on this occasion dr.eng.Costica T.Mustata, who spoke about the good relationships of collaboration established between Romania and India.
This aspect was supported by His Excellency Thanglura Darlong who spoke about the preoccupations of the Bucharest Chamber as regards the development of economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries. In the context, he spoke about the involvement of CCIB in the organization of the professional programme of the economic Indian mission which accompanied to Romania the vice-president of India his Excellency Vehkaiah Naidu as well as the projects proposed by the leadership of the chamber, including the one to organize an event dedicated to the presentation of the Indian offer.
