Professor Ioan Panzaru, decorated with the Legion of Honor in rank of Knight

France President Francois Hollande granted the Legion of Honor in rank of Knight distinction to Professor Ioan Panzaru, who is the Director of the Francophone Regional Center of Advanced Researches in Social Sciences of the University in Bucharest - CEREFREA Villa Noel. 

According to a release of the French Embassy, the high distinction was offered on Tuesday to the Romanian Professor by Ambassador Francois Saint-Paul, during a ceremony. 

The French Ambassador expressed with this occasion his appreciation for Professor Ioan Panzaru's contribution to deepen the French-Romanian relationship. 

In his turn, professor Panzaru brought to mind that near the Great Union Centenary, the francophonie asserts itself as a continuity element of Romanian modern culture.
