''Rebuilding Ukraine - Bucharest 2023'', 18-20 October at the Palace of Parliament

The Bilateral Chamber of Commerce Romania - Ukraine (CCBRU) organizes on 18-20 October 2023, under the auspices of the Ukrainian Embassy in Romania, the forum "Rebuilding Ukraine - Bucharest 2023", an event that aims to identify innovative solutions, best practices and policies to address the specific needs of Ukraine in the areas of reconstruction, defense and physical and mental rehabilitation of war victims in Ukraine.

Another important institutions of international renown are among the organisers of the event, namely the Chamber for Sustainable Development Diplomacy with Ukraine (CDDDU), US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights (USIDHR), Romanian Association of Military Technology Producers (PATROMIL) and New Strategy Center (NSC).

"This high-level international forum provides a collaborative and dynamic framework for constructive dialogue between governments, business and civil society. The vision of the organisers paints a picture of the significant changes that can be achieved by promoting connections between these three sectors. Government officials from Ukraine and Romania will be present at this important event, along with other international entities active in the fields of economy, defense and social policy. National and international business leaders will have the opportunity to interact directly with government officials, creating invaluable connections for the reconstruction of Ukraine," says a statement from the organisers.

The event will also provide a platform for civil society, human rights organisations and disability rights activists to actively contribute to the reconstruction agenda. Moreover, the Rebuilding Ukraine Forum takes a distinctive approach by facilitating essential interactions between representatives of the reconstruction authorities in Ukraine's regions and companies interested in the reconstruction process. This enables a deeper understanding of Ukraine's urgent needs and establishes meaningful partnerships.

‘The Forum acts as a dynamic platform for collaboration which approaches directly the specific requirements for the process of Ukraine reconstruction’ said Nasty-Marian Vladoiu, the chairman of the Bilateral Chamber of Commerce Romania –Ukraine and initiator of the project.

By combining the three essential pillars: reconstruction, defense and physical and mental rehabilitation of the victims of the Ukraine war, ‘ Rebuilding Ukraine Forum – Bucharest 2023’ ensures an exhaustive approach for the present problems Ukraine is facing as a result of the war generated by the Russian Federation on the territory of the neighbouring and friendly state.

The participants will receive, similarly, a prestigious Certificate of Recognition as Supporter of Rebuilding Ukraine.

The final purpose of the Forum is in line with the Objectives for Sustainable Development of the UN – a joint plan for peace and prosperity for the people and the planet. By harnessing innovative approaches to supporting the war effort, identifying domestic and international sources of reconstruction, and supporting Ukraine’s leaders in the process, this forum aims to pave the way for lasting peace and stability in the region.
