Romania to participate in Book World Prague 2023 with national stall

The Ministry of Culture is representing Romania at the 28th edition of Book World Prague, International Book Fair 2023, which will take place from 11 to 14 May, the ministry said in a press release sent on Monday.

Romania's participation in the Prague event is organised in partnership with the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR) Prague and the National Book Centre.

"The national stall spot is at KB102, within the exhibition space, and the guests of the Ministry of Culture are Victoria Patrascu, Stefania Mihalache and Radu Tuculescu," the ministry said.

The moderation and translation of the events will be provided by ICR Prague, Libuse Valentova, Jarmila Horakova, Jitka Lukesova and Jiri Nasinec.

The current edition of the Book World Prague is dedicated to the concept of "Authors without borders", and in this sense a space dedicated to literature professionals will be launched with meetings, presentations, debates due to take place. The Romanian author and translator Bogdan Ghiu and Livia Stoia, literary agent, will participate.
