Romanian Business Council to make its official debut in UAE on October 6

 

Romanian Business Council - UAEROBC.COM is preparing to make its official debut in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on October 6, 2023, buttressed by a bold vision and solid partnerships.

"We set out to build a bridge between Romania and the United Arab Emirates, playing a role of facilitator in the development of sustainable partnerships. The actions of the Romanian Business Council are based on values such as trust, integrity and responsibility, thus creating opportunities and tangible results for our members," Chairman of the Romanian Business Council - UAEROBC.COM Marius Marinoff told an event on Wednesday at Parliament Palace in Bucharest.

A letter from Sheikh Hamdan bin Khalifa bin Hamdan Al Nahyan was read out in which the sheikh says that the business environments of the United Arab Emirates and Romania offer unique opportunities with significant mutual benefits. In order to efficiently capitalise on such opportunities, he says, a framework of trust and transparency is required, and the Romanian Business Council can build a bridge that makes it easy to move from mere business transactions to strong an long-lasting partnerships

Attending the Romanian Business Council in the UAE - UAEROBC.com event on Wednesday were Nicoleta Teodorovici, consul general of Romania in the United Arab Emirates; Senator Viorel Badea, chairman of the Romanian Senate's Committee on Culture and Media, as well as the first members of UAEROBC.

According the Romanian Business Council, the luxurious Armani Hotel in Burj Khalifa will be the host of the event on October 6, which will mark a new stage in the co-operation between the Romanian and Emirates business communities.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Khalifa bin Hamdan Al Nahyan is UAEROBC honorary chairman. Marius Marinoff is chairman and Genoveva Turcu deputy chair.

UAEROBC has already concluded partnerships with prestigious entities from the Emirates, such as IGH Hotels & Resorts, EMAAR, National Rent a Car and Rotana. Dialogues with First Abu Dhabi Bank are ongoing, and other collaborations are being consolidated.

Trade between Romania and the United Arab Emirates has witnessed constant growth over the past 26 years. Exports from Romania to the UAE had an annual growth rate of 10.5%, with the value of commercial exchnages having increased from USD 26.8 million in 1995 to over USD 448.67 million in 2022.
