Sorin Grindeanu - elected interim PSD president

Sorin Grindeanu was elected on Tuesday as interim PSD president according to some sources in the party.

Reunited in the meeting of the National Political Council at Lac Villa, the social-democrats chose their interim president after Marcel Ciolacu resigned from the position of PSD president.

For the position of interim president there ran Sorin Grindeanu and Daniel Baluta, the prime-vice presidents of PSD. The CPN membes chose Sorin Grindeanu through vote.
