Speaker of the Senate, Anca Dragu met the ambassador of Greece, Sofia Grammata

The Spraker of the Senate, Anca Dragu has discussed with the ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to Bucharest, Sofia Grammata about the cooperation between Romania and Greece in tourism and in the domain of commercial exchanges.
‘In our discussion with H.E. Sofia Grammata, the ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to Romania we have analysed several ways through which Romania and Greece could develop a tighter cooperation in the domain of tourism and commercial exchanges. We have underlined the necessity to cooperate between the two parliaments, not only to achieve the objective of economic growth but from the perspective of combating the pandemics in our countries through vaccination plans, fact which will facilitate commercial exchanges between ourselves and the Hellenic Republic’ Anca Dragu wrote on Facebook on Saturday.
At the same time, she discussed with the Greek diplomat on the issue of violence against women and the observance of their rights in the professional and familial environment.
‘I am happy to see that Romania has mutual topics of interest with the environment and its foreign partners. I think that the development of the relation of the Romanian parliament with the similar institutions in the partners countries can bring us to the legislative standard which Romania can use for the benefit of the citizens’ Dragu added.
