Study: the business people expect the deterioration of the economic situation for the period to come
The business people expect the deterioration of the economy for the period to come, the lack of financial sources and those for investments, corruption and the access to European Funds being the main factors to affect the Romanian economy in the next year, according toa GfK study.
"The main factor to influence the economy over the next 12 months has to do with the lack of sources of financing and those for investments. When the answers to these questions are correlated to the rest of the evaluation of the leaders from the business environment, it becomes obvious the expectation that the state of econoly should be degraded. At the expectation, it is added th feeling that the financial situation of the population does not improve and the productivity and the profits drop" shows that study of the Romanian Business Leaders Foundation ( RBLS) made in partnership with the GfK company.
The research, presented on Wednesday in a conference, has as a basis the response of 171 entrepreneurs and managers of Romania. Thus, 77% of the interviewees showed the lack of investments as the main phenomenon economic of importance, which will affect the economy over the future year, and 75% spoke about corruption. The third place, with a percentage of 68%, is accessing investment funds, and this factor is followed by the pessimism of the investors - 68% and the uncertainty of economy -64%.
As regards th phenomena which will affect the society over the next year, the entrepreneurs appreciated that the export of work force, the increase of school abandment and the ageing of the population will have the biggest social influences.
The consequences of the foreign phenomena which the business people see are reduced investment and the drop or the stagnation of exports, which is for the Romanian market the symbol of economic stagation, as consumption does not have the capacity to support growth.
The conclusions to the study show that the entrepreneurs have more worries than the managers of the companies with over 100 employees. The study was made between 6-25 April. RBL was set up in 2011
