The growth factor of net average salary in June 2014 against January 1990 was 5714.77 and against February 1992 was 1326.57,informs the National Institute for Statistics.

The factor is brought to the attention of county councils and local councils, townhalls, commercial companies and units specialised in the sale of residences, in accordance with the provisions of law no.112/1995 which refers to the sale/acquisition of nationalised residences.

According to the provisions of law no.112/1995 – the law of nationalised houses – the value of damages which are offered to the former owners and their inheritors for apartments which were not given back in kind, as well as the selling price, they are updated through the factors which ‘ cannot be lower than the growth factor of the average salary at national level’.

The growth factor of the net average salary at economy level is presented, in general by INS the month following the quarter which passed.
