The Romanian brand Laptaria cu Caimac got the international certificate Food Standards

Laptaria cu Caimac, the producer of Romanian premium dairy products obtained after an audit taking place in March 2021, the international certificate Food Standards 6.1, the system with the largest international acknowledgement as regards the security of food and quality management, informs a press release of the company.

Getting the IFS 6.1 certificate meant the detailed audit of the factory Laptaria cu Caimac of Dragoesti and the checking of the technical factors such as: management of the raw material and specific analyses, possible contamination; maintenance of equipment and calibres; traceability of the products to the suppliers; management of hygiene both in infrastructure,spaces, equipment and in the personnel; checking and good practices for the safety of the product; agreement with the legislation in power.

The audit was made by Lloyds Register,and the certification to be kept means annual reaudit.

Laptaria cu Caimac has in 2021 three years since launching and closed 2020 with a turnover of 49 million lei, with significant growth both at the level of the production capacity and at the level of sales. At the end of last year, the company launched the first emission of bonds worth three million euro, and in March they received the approval for a sale offer known as private equity investment.

The products Laptaria cu Caimac are present in over 2,000 shops, at national level, including in the big retail chains, in groceries, proximity shops and traditional shops as well as in HoReCa.

The investments in the processing factory are over five million euro and the capacity is approximately 75 tons of milk daily.
