Updated agreement on Romania - UK defense cooperation
The government approved on Wednesday a memorandum on the negotiation and signing of an agreement between the Government of Romania and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland regarding defense cooperation, which updates the legal framework for the two states' cooperation, given that the United Kingdom is no longer a member of the European Union, the government said in a statement.
"The agreement introduces new regulations, especially with regard to the administrative procedure for entering the territory of one of the parties, but also with regard to certain tax exemptions" the cited source mentions.
