Viorica Dancila has discussed with the minister of foreign affairs of Bulgaria about the Strategy of the Danube

Premier Viorica Dancila had a meeting on Monday with the vice-prime-minister for the reform of justice and the minister of foreign affairs of Bulgaria Ekaterina Zaharieva who is on a visit to Romania. During the meeting there were discussions about the Romanian-Bulgarian relations and the Strategy of the Danube.

Premier Viorica Dancila emphasized the importance of collaboration with the Bulgarian partners with a view to reaching the priority objectives at European level and about the cohesion policy and the agricultural one within the negotiations for the new multiannual framework.

 ‘’the prime-minister Viorica Dancila reiterated the necessity of a tight collaboration with the Bulgarian partners for reaching the priority objectives at European level and for keeping some important allocations for the cohesion policy and the agricultural one within the negotioations for the new multiannual framework, the promotion of regional  cooperation and the region of the Black Sea, the policy of extension in Western Balkans advancement and the connection of the EU and the eastern partners’ the press release says.

The Bulgarian official visit takes place in the context of a year with significance in the bilateral relation, the celebration of 140 years since the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Romania and Bulgaria.
