Vinia Iasi to expand vine culture

Winemaker Vinia Iasi (eastern Romania) will purchase 500 hectares of vine, thus expanding its current 1,800-hectare area.Vinia Iasi will take out credits worth 12.2 million euros for investment (production, to support vineyard in Zorileni, as well as for new vineyards). Some 300,000 euros will be invested in new equipment. The company, set up in 150, runs on Romanian capital, and its main brands are Tamaioasa Romaneasca, Copou, Colinele Iasului, Feteasca Regala, Babeasca Neagra, Merlot, ...
