INSIA enters Romanian insurance market

INSIA, the biggest insurance broker network of Central and Eastern Europe officially announced late last week that it opened its first Romanian-based subsidiary, in Bucharest, reads INSIA release sent to Agerpres.

The Company wants to build a powerful franchised insurance broker network, and to cover most of Romania's regions, and number at least 50 offices, here during the next three years.

'INSIA model will supply high quality services for a full range of insurance products, starting from retail till the Small and Medium Sized Companies (SMEs.). We want to attract the best Romanian insurance experts in the INSIA network, willing to develop business in the field, explained INSIA Romania Business Development manager Alexandra Arsenie.

INSIA has already signed two agreements on its first two Romanian-based offices.

The INSIA model is currently launched in several markets, which we see as having business potential, namely in Poland, Romania, Italy and Hungary. INSIA is the solution for the insurance professionals willing to step towards entrepreneurship,' INSIA Europe managing director Louis Coomans said.

The INSIA model was launched in the Czech Republic, in 1992, and it currently numbers 1,300 experts in over 250 offices in the Czech Republic and Slovakia,
In 2011, INSIA joined Marsh global top insurance broker and risk consultancy supplier. The partnership with MARSH endorses the INSIA concept based on the development of a network h of individuals and small and medium sized companies.
