AHK Romania: Judicial stability, predictability of decisions, economic and political, important criteria for investment placement of the German companies
The German companies appreciate the anti-corruption fight and want it to continue, and at the same time, they want judicial stability of the business environment as well, to be able to invest in Romania, says a press release of the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce (AHK Romania).
As it is clear from the most recent surveys, the judicial stability, the predictability of the economic and political decisions as well as the conditions which economically stable are for the German companies important criteria to place investments. Besides that, the German companies appreciate the anti-corruption fight and they want it continued. Not only the German companies need judicial stability and stable business environment to invest in Romania and create new work places’ the press release says.
According to the AHK representatives, Romania is a strategic economic partner for the German economy. The bilateral economic relations have continued to grow in 2016 as well. The commercial exchanges are over 24 million euro in the first 11 months of 2016 (+13%) being 20% of the total of foreign trade of Romania. Almost 8,000 German companies, with German capital are active in Romania and have contributed to the creation and safety of work places – according to our estimate the German companies have over 250,000employees in Romania.
German direct investment has as a total 8 billion euro. The German companies invested in the last 25 years on a long term in Romania contributing to the transfer of technology and the growth of Romanian economic competitivity..
