Bucharest Forum Healthcare symposium to be organized this Friday

 Specialists in health care, European and national experts in regulation, researchers and decision-makers in the medical technologies and pharmaceutical products' sectors will reunite on Friday, for the fourth time in Bucharest within the Bucharest Forum Healthcare symposium, organized by Aspen Romania Institute.

According to a release by the said institute, at this year's edition of Bucharest Forum Healthcare is announced the participation of over 30 Romanian and European speakers, among whom Health minister, Nicolae Banicioiu, the chairman of the Aspen Romania Institute, Mircea Geoana, the MEP Cristian Busoi, the chairman of the European Coalition of Patients with Cancer (ECPC), Francesco de Lorenzo, the PASLU executive manager, Andrew Stainthorpe, NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence), Great Britain, Stephen Smye, director, NIHR CCRN (National Institute for Health Research, Comprehensive Clinical Research Network), Great Britain, the chairman of the National House of Health Insurance, Vasile Ciurchea, the president of the National Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices, Marius Savu, Driss Berdai, member of the Transparence Committee, HAS (Haute Autorité de Sante), France, Jaime Espin, professor, Andalusian School of Public Health, Spain, Colin R.W. Hayward, European Medical Director, Myriad Genetics. 

'Starting from the European and regional expertise, the organisers aim to deepen conversation regarding the administration of the funds of entering the market of the pharmaceutical products, the guidance of the Medicine European Agency for the patients' associations, the research in medical sector with an accent on the personalized medicine, and the new therapies in the rare diseases' treatment. (...) Basing on the outcome of the past editions, the organisers aim to finding new durable solutions to the health care system's problems, through a dialogue of the interested actors and their views upon the available alternatives,' the Aspen Romania Institute release, sent on Monday, reads. 

Bucharest Forum Healthcare is a long-term debate platform, dedicated to the health decision-makers, developed by Aspen Romania Institute with support by Romania's Government.
