CNP adjusted its 2015 GDP projection from 2.6 per cent to 2.5 per cent

The National Economic Projection Board (CNP) has upwardly adjusted its 2014 Gross Domestic Product (GDP) projection from 2.5 per cent to 2.6 per cent, and downwardly adjusted its 2015 GDP projection from 2.6 per cent to 2.5 per cent. 

CNP's 2014-2018 autumn projections show Romania's 2014 GDP standing at RON 674.3 billion and the 2015 GDP at RON 709.7 billion. 

For 2016 and 2017, CNP has affirmed its May 2104 projections of 3 per cent growth in 2016 and 3.3 per cent growth in 2017, while for 2018 the GDP should advance 3.5 per cent. 

On the other hand, CNP expects Romania's final consumption in 2014 to advance 3.6 per cent and 2.4 per cent in 2015; individual household consumption should advance 3.1 per cent and 2.5 per cent, respectively, whereas public administration final consumption should be up 9 per cent and 1.5 per cent, respectively.
