Deputies approved the DNA's request to remand in custody the Liberal deputy Ioan Oltean

The Chamber of Deputies' plenary sitting on Wednesday approved the National Anti-corruption Directorate (DNA) request to remand in custody the Liberal deputy Ioan Oltean. 

The secret vote with balls recorded 186 votes "in favour", 111 "against" the DNA demand, while one vote was annulled. 

Last week, the legal Committee of the Chamber had given positive report to the DNA request regarding the Liberal deputy's remand in custody.
